Privacy Policy

Introduction

Mujō TECH Limited (we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) when dealing with personal information. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information. It does not limit or exclude your rights under the Act. For more information on the Act, see www.privacy.org.nz.

Our Role with Your Information

When you use our services, we act in two distinct capacities depending on the context:

As an Agent for our Business Clients: When we collect and process the personal information of Consumers on behalf of a Business (e.g., when you subscribe to a Business's offering), we are acting as an "agent" or "processor" for that Business. The Business's privacy policy governs the use of your information in this context.

As an Agency in our Own Right: When we collect personal information directly from Consumers or Businesses for our own purposes (e.g., to create a Treue account, process our own service fees, or for platform-wide analytics), we are acting as an "agency" or "controller" of that information. This policy governs our use of your information in this context.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time by uploading a revised version to our website. For any significant changes that materially affect how we handle your personal information, we will provide more prominent notice, such as by sending you an email or displaying a notification within the App. The changes will apply from the date we upload the revised policy.

This policy was last updated in August 2025.
